We're the advance party from the [ZONE_CAMPAIGN GARRISON|Valley of Preparation]. If the Elves stationed in Candara had not come here in search of forgotten fighting arts and discovered something wrong with the Ents, I don't know when we would have learned about the changes in the [ZONE_DGN_THE_ORIGIN|Origin], but one thing's for certain...it would have been much later.
[102307|Holy Tree Falynum] is causing the Ents to run amok. Danger presses in on all sides. This campaign is no walk in the park.
Anyway, the first attack wave left us in a sorry condition. There's no excuse for it. Going into battle unprepared, always runs the risk of defeat.
We paid the price in blood, but we also weakened the enemy. You'll be in a better position than we were when we first encountered them. Go and wipe out those rampaging Worms, Giants Beetles, Giant Bugs and Blood-sucking Bugs... They're destroying the [ZONE_DGN_THE_ORIGIN|Origin]! You've got to stop them!
CompleteDetailReducing their numbers will ease the pressure on the environment, but as we have discovered, simply mopping up little Life Leeches does not appear to affect their source...
Especially now that Druid [113378|Cartier] has discovered the enemy's origins...
