I don't know why, but every time I see the smiles painted on their faces, or when they perform their clownish acts, I can't even make myself smile. Instead, I feel an anger that is hard to bear.

It is the kind of anger you feel when one of your best friends gets mocked by someone else.

But isn't that strange? How could our close friends wind up performing in a circus?

Yet every time I set foot in the circus, there is a sharp pain in my heart, like it has been brutally struck with a hammer...

I don't know if I go there looking for fun, or to find my already familiar memories...
