Get a [204874|Cactus Needle] from [100620|Giant Needle Cactus], [100621|Giant Flower Cactus], [100667|Giant Fruit Cactus], [100658|Fruit Cactus], [100659|Flower Cactus] or [100660|Needle Cactus] in [ZONE_DUSTBLOOM CANYON|Dust Devil Canyon].

Bring these back to [113016|Ruby Lagoda].

[204875|Arkana's Toughness] is a very special piece. In the ancient texts it isn't considered as important as the soul, head or body, but without it the [204650|Arkana] couldn't be completed.

Just like the name, it needs "toughness." I need to find the most suitable material for making its hair.

There is a dreadful Fiend that inhabits the [ZONE_TILEDGN_HYBORA_LABYRINTH_03|Royals' Refuge] in [QUEST_DIR_103|Ystra Labyrinth]. What's special about it is that... the guards aren't afraid of its power but they have still given it the nickname "Destroyer." Coincidentally, its existence matches the essence of the [204875|Arkana's Toughness]. There is a legend about it too... if the [204873|Feather of Raichika the Destroyer] is pulled out, the ancient spirit will move once again and make the hair unbreakable and the soul uncrushable...

The most important part of the [204650|Arkana] is its soul. Like the legend says... tough hair will become a protective shield for the soul.

But just having this isn't enough. This piece is vital for building the [204650|Arkana] so it should be further stabilized.

The cacti of [ZONE_DUSTBLOOM CANYON|Dust Devil Canyon] have [<S>204874|Cactus Needles] that will be helpful. [<S>100620|Giant Needle Cacti], [<S>100621|Giant Flower Cacti] and [<S>100667|Giant Fruit Cacti] will certainly have what we need. Too bad there aren't many of them and their whereabouts are unknown. I think that the chances of getting a [204874|Cactus Needle] from a [100658|Fruit Cactus], [100659|Flower Cactus] or [100660|Needle Cactus] is really low. It looks like getting this material will be a pretty big challenge.

People have gotten them from [<S>100658|Fruit Cacti], [<S>100659|Flower Cacti] and [<S>100660|Needle Cacti] before, but there aren't many of them. Actually, [204874|Cactus Needle] is extremely rare.
