Since I was young, I've written down all kinds of things that seemed strange or out of place in my journal. Now that I'm old my memory isn't too good, but these diaries record everything I experienced, heard, and thought back then.
I'll go find those diaries now, you can wait here...but, courageous adventurer, I have a favor to ask of you. There's a shortage of food in the village, so I've been teaching some young men to farm. Maybe the work of tilling the fields was too hard, so they ran away after just a few days.
