Los hombres de la zona de tala tampoco los han visto por allí cuando esperaban. Por eso la [ZONE_BOULDERWIND\|Aldea del Acantilado Ventoso] ha enviado un equipo de investigación, para averiguar lo que ha ocurrido.\n\nNo obstante, después de tres días de espera, no obtuvimos noticias del primer equipo de investigación. Por ese motivo se ha formado un segundo equipo de investigación, conmigo a la cabeza.	Investigation of the Woodspring Village incident:\n\nSeven days ago, the Woodspring Village merchants failed to appear at [ZONE_BOULDERWIND\|Boulderwind Village] according to schedule. The men in the logging area also reported that they had not seen them as expected. Because of this, [ZONE_BOULDERWIND\|Boulderwind Village] sent out an investigation team to go forth and find out what had happened.\n\nHowever, after three days, the first investigation team failed to report back. Because of this, a second investigation team was formed, with myself as the leader.

Setting up camp on the north shore of [ZONE_LAKE BUNGA\|Bunga Lake], we sent out part of our party to go forth and search. At about noon, Bake Luther from the search party came running back, his body covered in blood. In the jungle behind him, we could see the silhouettes of what seemed to be giants almost twice the height of normal adults. We could hear them conversing softly in a strange tongue, and then they retreated into the depths of the marsh.\n\nBecause Bake Luther was about to pass out, all he could report to us was that Woodspring Village had been completely destroyed.

Y los que han estado de guardia han informado de grandes siluetas en la marisma en cerca de nuestro campamento.\n\nAl final, Bake Luther murió a causa de un veneno y una grave herida de cuchillo. A few days later, no one else from the search party had returned, but those standing guard reported tall silhouettes in the marsh, all facing our camp.\n\nEventually, Bake Luther died from some kind of poison and a serious knife wound. Judging by this, those dark shapes -whatever they are - use sharp weapons and carry deadly poison. We are obviously not dealing with any of the beasts known to haunt the marsh. Perhaps these are the huge Trolls often rumored among the natives.

Some people were adamant that these could not possibly be Trolls, because the habits we had observed were quite different from what was previously known. Also, this business with the poison had never occurred in Troll attacks in the past. We finally decided to call these nameless enemies Forest Shadows.\n\nRegardless, I determined that these Forest Shadows were definitely aggressive. After another member of the party was attacked, I decided to take the investigation party and return to [ZONE_BOULDERWIND\|Boulderwind Village]. When I reported to my superiors, I told them that we need a much stronger force if we want to face these enemies.
