Les hurlements des hommes, les cris de panique des femme et les pleurs des enfants retentirent avec horreur dans le lointain.\n\nLe seul survivant fut Bell Ed et sa servante qui étaient alors en voyage. \n\nAprès cette nuit. Hackman se couvrit les yeux avec un bandeau. La rumeur prétend qu'il perdit son œil valide cette nuit-là au cours de l'attaque. Mais nul ne sait si c'est vrai.\n\nLa patrimoine de la famille Ed disparut. Hackman abandonna même son nom de famille. Il devint alors "Hackman l'aveugle". \n\nSon nom est désormais synonyme de la bande de pillards de tombe.	The warmth of the setting sun caressed the village of Acklorn, as if bidding farewell after a long day. When night fell, the Ed family fell prey to a deadly ambush.\n\nHackman led the tomb robbers to his home, treading with practiced feet.\n\nOn that night, the ground was colored scarlet with blood. The sound of men yelling, of the panicked screams of women and the wail of children crying in the distance were particularly horrifying in the dark of the night. \n\nNo one survived except Bell Ed and his maid, who were away travelling.\n\nAfter that night, Hackman covered his eyes with a strip of cloth. Rumor has that his only remaining eye had been stabbed in the attack. But no one knows if this is true.\n\nThe wealth Ed family disappeared. Hackman abandoned his family name. He became known as "Blind Hackman". \n\nHis name is now synonymous with the tomb robber gang.
