| SC_202424_0 | Everyone says that I am crazy. Even I know that I'm weird.\n\nBut those terrifying eyes were staring at my lover and I. I'd already lost my entire family. I can't lose my lover too.\n\nFear caused me to lose control.\n\n(It seems to have been torn, with only half the pages remaining.) |
| SC_202424_1 | Today he looked at me the same way the others do.\n\nTheir looks always seem to say, "Poor Distine."\n\nI know that he still loves me the same way he did that first day. I love him just as much, but I know that I can no longer be the wife he can rely on. Now I am a patient that must rely on him.\n\nI rubbed his hair to avoid that gaze, and he smiled like he used to, letting me know that he is still different from the others. |
| SC_202424_2 | He left me.\n\nHe rode his horse and looked back at me with longing, but it was his duty to go.\n\nI didn't stop him this time, I have relied on him too much. I have to prove that he doesn't need to worry about me when he's gone.\n\nPlus, I hadn't seen those eyes lately. Hopefully I will not see them again until he is back. |
| SC_202424_3 | I shouldn't go for a midnight stroll again.\n\nI saw... those eyes again.\n\nThey aren't only in my dreams now. They look at us, fluttering about between the mountains...\n(A picture of a mountain with many eyes messily colored in is on the bottom half of the page.) |
| SC_202424_4 | I received a letter from him saying that it will take longer than expected.\n\nI hope he can come back soon. I wrote him a letter telling him about the eyes in the mountains. Maybe he will come back sooner to deal with those eyes.\n\nThose eyes appeared in my dreams again. Although they are more dangerous, he will be able to face them.\n\nHe is a hero who will be able to deal with those eyes. Thinking about it stops my shaking.\n\n(There are only yellowing empty pages in the rest of the notebook.) |

But I guess that line of thought won't change anything...\nYou cannot give up everything and leave. We have been standing facing each other from the opposite sides of the cliffs, unable to be together and unable to say goodbye, until now... \n\nI want to say something to you. | SC_202861_1 | A long time ago, Ayvenas, god of gods created a book. In this book was recorded the beginning of the world and the origin of all life. This book was called Taborea.\n\nIn Taborea, Ayvenas wrote about endless grasslands and trees that soared to the sky. He wrote of a sky of beautiful blue and nights of sparkling stars, and so it was. He wrote words of beautiful music to surround it all, and there was wind.\n\nAlthough surrounded by such beauty, Ayvenas felt lonely. So he created animals out of the mud. |
| SC_202862_1 | Ayvenas discovered that these animals he created from the mud were very fragile. They would become sick and die. They would bump into things and be injured. If they were threatened they would become fearful. They did not know how to protect themselves. These were the smallest and weakest animals of the world.\n\nHence Ayvenas wrote in Taborea how he separated and instructed the animals of the world. He made it so that they had different abilities and characteristics. Slowly those animals with similar characteristics gathered together to create a tribe. These tribes gave birth to the various peoples of the world. |
| SC_202863_1 | All the tribes of the world worked towards their own goals. They calmly developed in peace. Ayvenas was pleased. He wondered what would happen if the world was not peaceful, so he wrote this down, too.\n\nBut without him noticing it, this thought entered into the book and the world began to change. |
| SC_202864_1 | Because of Ayvenas' carelessness, the people of the world changed. Ayvenas' incarnations taught the people knowledge and skills. But discrepancies started to arise between the groups. When they were taught how to receive rewards from their skills some people cultivated and hunted, but others began to rob and plunder. When told how to stand up to danger in their lives, the tribes achieved harmony within, but they started to wage war on each other.\n\nAyvenas realized that this world was theirs now. So he ripped the future pages of Taborea apart and scattered the scraps in all four corners of the world. Ayvenas wanted to give the power over the world's destiny to the people. The future of Taborea was in their hands. |
| SC_202865_1 | As the story was told down through the generations, the scraps of Taborea came to be known as "oracles." The legend also arose that if you owned one of these scraps, you could control the future. |
